Rowbotham & Company's Kenneth Lee Graduated From CALCPA's Leadership Institue 2009 Class

Each year, CalCPA Leadership Institute teaches potential member leaders the specific skills necessary to grow into future leadership positions at CalCPA and within their firms. The California CPA Education Foundation and CalCPA underwrite the costs and for this we say "Thank You".

Many qualified candidates apply, but only those who have the greatest potential for fulfilling future leadership roles are selected. Rowbotham & Company’s Kenneth Lee was selected for the 2009 Class and graduated from the CalCPA Leadership Institute on January 21, 2010. Congratulation to Kenneth! Kenneth will be serving as an officer, Treasurer and Board member of the CalCPA Peninsula/Silicon Valley Chapter in 2010-2011.

Kenneth also participated in the CPA Day at the Capitol (Sacramento) on January 20. He met with several distinguished members of the state legislature discussing the pending Sales Tax on Services bill as well as promoting the Financial Literacy Education.

Rowbotham & Company has been in the forefront in financial literacy education through its sponsorship of Tax-Aid.org as well as giving seminar/speech at local high school and college. “We are proud of our ability to make such a direct and positive impact in our community, and it is very rewarding to see our younger generation is learning financial literacy early on” says managing partner Brian Rowbotham.
